This class will focus on mindfulness and calming techniques, as well as physical strength. My goal for this class is to create a relaxing space that will encourage your child to learn body, mind and emotional awareness.
We will learn poses through yoga practice, we will play yoga games and we will practice meditating in a faith based mindset. Christian meditation is learning how to quiet your mind so that you can hear Gods words for you. During the second semester children will work on developing their own yoga flow, and will have the option to instruct their own class. Of course, only if they feel ready and excited to do so.
Students will need to bring a yoga mat.
