This course was prepared for high school students grades 9-12 to meet the requirements of a high school course in U.S History and Honors U.S History.  I will be using the textbook, additional literature readings, projects, and internet activities to help your students learn about U.S History.

Description

This course was prepared for high school students grades 9-12 to meet the requirements of a high school course in U.S History and Honors U.S History.  I will be using the textbook, additional literature readings, projects, and internet activities to help your students learn about U.S History.
There will be 2 options for this course: Regular and Honors. Both options will be using the same textbook. They will have most of the same online and homework assignments. However, the honor students will have additional literature readings, essays, and additional work on their class projects.  
Grading:
  • Students will receive a grade based on the following:
  • Weekly Class Participation
  • Homework assignments
  • Tests
  • Projects

  • Textbook – Holt McDougal -The Americans Homeschool Package ISBN: 9780544143364 (I recommend buying it from https://www.rainbowresource.com)
  • Pencils
  • Binder (1inch)
  • Folder with pockets
  • Access to the Internet
  • Paper
  • ​Hard copies of Novels
